According to 1900 US Census, Henry resided in dwelling lot 71 with his five children and his sister, Molly. Fate Breshers, a teenage boarder and farm laborer, is also listed as a resident. Henry could read and write.
His inferred mother, Harriet Bradley was a Negro house keeper from Virginia. She could not read or write and Harriet is the single Black woman listed on the Crenshaw Co. Alabama 1870 Census.
